Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Gardencraft Furnishings. We are committed to ensuring your order is delivered to you in a timely and safe manner. This policy outlines our procedures for shipping and delivery.

Processing your order.

Order processing time: All orders are processed within 2-5 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

High-volume periods: During high-volume periods, such as sales or holidays, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. We will notify you via email if there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order.

Domestic shipping (within New Zealand)

Shipping costs: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We will endeavour to find the lowest courier cost that we can, plus a small p&p fee. For North island this should not exceed $20, and $30 for South island. Smaller items are shipped at considerably lower cost. We also offer free shipping for orders over $150. Maximum of 4 items applies.

Delivery timeframe: Once your order has been processed, you can expect delivery within 1-2 business days for major centres. For rural deliveries, please allow an additional 2-3 business days.

Carrier: We typically use NZ Post, Post Haste, Aramex or NZ Couriers for all domestic deliveries.

Tracking: A tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched. You can use this to track your parcel on the carrier's website.

Furnishings only available in Wellington region unless by request

Large furnishings (benches, sofas, tables etc) are only available in Wellington at present due to the host cost of shipping items. If you are outside Wellington and would like any of these items do contact us for a shipping quote. Some items can be flat shipped, which requires some assembly, but come with a significantly lower shipping cost.

International shipping.

We currently do not ship outside of New Zealand due to high shipping costs. If you are interested in any of our products do contact us and we will provide a shipping quote.

Damage, lost in transit and returns.

Damage: If you receive your order and find that it has been damaged in transit, you must contact us at office@gardencraftfurnishings.com within 48 hours of receiving it, and before 21days after order confirmation.

Lost orders: If your order has not arrived within the specified timeframe, please contact us at office@gardencraftfurnishings.com. We will work with the carrier to track the parcel and resolve the issue.

Your consumer rights: Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if a product is faulty.

Faulty goods: If a product is faulty, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Do not send back a faulty item without contacting us first to arrange the return.

Change of mind: We are not legally required to offer returns or refunds for "change of mind" purchases.
